Winery Partnerships

Let’s Work Together

My favourite thing about wine is the people behind it. I’m fortunate to work with a small group of passionate winemakers who embody a philosophy of life and wine that deeply resonates with me.

If you’re a winery looking to enter or expand in Canada, I offer tailored representation in the Manitoba market, backed by a strong understanding of the region’s regulatory environment, consumer preferences, and trade network. Beyond Manitoba, I can also help identify and connect you with trusted partners in other key Canadian provinces.

Whether your goal is to establish a long-term presence or simply explore new opportunities, I provide strategic, transparent support to ensure your wines reach the right audience.

If you’re interested in having Vinsanity represent your wines in Manitoba—or in finding representation elsewhere in Canada—please reach out. I’d love to chat.

Discover the wineries I’m proud to represent—each one selected for its commitment to quality, authenticity, and a true sense of place. Below, you'll find a brief introduction to each producer. From iconic estates to rising stars, these are the wines I believe in—and I’m excited to share them with the Manitoba market and beyond.

Davide operates a small winery in the hills of Nanto, a small village in the province of Vicenza, on the eastern side of Colli Berici. Davide’s wines feature autocothynous and traditional varieties that are farmed organically and crafted with minimal intervention in the winery. Andrea worked with Davide to create the text available on his website and wine labels.

The Joaquin brand is also defined by the winery’s unwavering commitment to enhancing the expressive power of its wines through extended elevage, in which the hand of man accompanies and guides the wines on their journey but never chooses the ultimate path.  Every year each unique vineyard parcel is vinified separately to create a collection of singular wines that are authentic expressions of their place of origin. On average, 5500 bottles of each idiosyncratic label are produced per year.

The Juice Asylum is a project started in 2016 by Alessio Guidi. Being a fanatic on all things quirky, interesting and above all terroir driven, he embraces the idea of allowing wine to have an experimental playground where the natural element is encouraged rather than denied and put into a ‘facility’ (an Asylum, if you will) for correction. Since so much time is spent on the selection of the grapes (sourced from biodynamic or organic vineyards in Tuscany) the brief is to use minimal intervention, co-fermentation and different styles of ageing to allow the wine to speak of where it is from rather than be ‘made’.

Le Ragnaie is an acclaimed, family‑run estate in Montalcino, Tuscany, sprawling across approximately 28 hectares of high‑altitude vineyards perched between 530–600 meters above sea level. Under the leadership of Riccardo Campinoti the winery emphasizes organic and biodiversity-friendly viticulture, planting cover crops and avoiding chemical fertilizers to nurture the soil. They cultivate Sangiovese across four distinct crus, producing elegant, terroir‑driven Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino. In addition to its celebrated Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino, Le Ragnaie also produces a small range of other wines, including a fresh and mineral-driven rosato and a vibrant Fiano, showcasing the estate's versatility and commitment to expressing terroir through both classic and unexpected varietals.

Chiara Condello is widely regarded as a rising star in Emilia-Romagna, earning acclaim for her elegant, terroir-driven expressions of Sangiovese from the historic hills of Predappio. After gaining experience at her family's estate, she launched her own label in 2015 with a clear vision: to craft wines that reflect the soul of this lesser-known corner of Romagna. Farming organically and working exclusively with indigenous yeasts, she produces two cuvées that have quickly gained a loyal following—the vibrant, approachable “Chiara Condello” and the more structured, age-worthy “Le Lucciole.” Her wines are marked by bright red fruit, floral lift, and a refined mineral edge, offering a fresh yet authentic take on Sangiovese that speaks of both place and purpose.

High on the cool slopes of Monte Amiata near Poggioferro, Bakkanali is the project of Sebastian Nasello and Hugo Fabbri. The estate encompasses about 5.5 hectares farmed organically, with conversion underway to biodynamic certification. Vineyards lie between 600 and 800 meters above sea level on a patchwork of iron-rich clays, volcanic sands, limestone, and flysch, giving the wines clarity, freshness, and marked mineral character.

Winemaking here is distinctive: 100% whole-bunch fermentations, often with semi-carbonic maceration, are carried out in neutral concrete and steel to emphasize purity and precision. Since 2022, the estate has also benefited from the vision of winemaker Isabelle Varins, who brings a contemporary sensibility to the natural-fermentation approach, enriching the wines’ authenticity and textural refinement. Alongside their Sangiovese-based reds such as Rosso, Kani, and Fiorenzo, Bakkanali is also developing an innovative project in Piscina, planting Savagnin and Chardonnay at high altitude to explore new dimensions of mountain white wines.Bakkanali is a project that owes its evolution to friendship and is named after the banquets during which the Romans celebrated the ecstasy of life, between wine, food and bodies. Bakkanali is a celebration of enthusiasm, of the people we love and of the world of wine that makes us so happy.

Cupano is an organic, sustainably farmed estate on the southwest slopes of Montalcino, acquired by Ornella Tondini and Lionel Cousin in 1994 and first planted in 1997. Their 3.4 ha of Sangiovese, along with small plantings of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, thrive in south-facing vineyards on rocky, marine-influenced soils. Inspired by Burgundian tradition under the guidance of mentors like Henri Jayer, they practice manual harvesting, native-yeast fermentation, barrique aging, minimal sulphur, and no filtration, producing elegant Rosso, Brunello, Riserva, and the Bordeaux-style Ombrone blend. Since 2014, Andrea Polidoro has been at the heart of the operation—first as cellar master, now winemaker—having fallen in love with Cupano’s wines in Bordeaux and studied its techniques under Lionel. He is now steward of the estate alongside Ornella, embracing organic methods, meticulous vineyard care, and soulful, terroir-driven winemaking

La Tordera was founded in the hills of Valdobbiadene, the heart of the Valdobbiadene Superiore DOCG production area, between Venice and the Dolomites.

Always on the lookout for innovation, but never forgetting our bond with their land and its traditions, the winery prefers an ever more “green” approach to its winemaking, in harmony with the environment, looking back to the past and forward to the future.

The name of the winery comes from a rolling hill in the Cartizze area. In ancient times, the hill was home to a bird snare called Tordera; in fact, in autumn, thrushes flew from the nearby mountains looking for food among the rows of vines. Thanks to this tradition, this high ground started being called Tordera. Although the snare no longer exists, the name has remained in the collective memory.

This is where the roots of the family and the winery started to grow, this is where La Tordera began.

Alepa is a family-run organic winery nestled in the Caiatine Hills near Caiazzo, north-east of Naples in Campania. Founded in 1986 by Eugenio Riccio and now led by his daughter Paola, it specializes in reviving the nearly lost local Pallagrello grape (both bianco and nero), alongside typical Campanian varieties like Falanghina, Greco, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Practicing ethical and regenerative viticulture—using native yeasts, spontaneous fermentation, chestnut barrels, geese for weeding, cover crops, and composting—the winery limits yields to ensure expressive, terroir-driven wines.

Maugeri is perched on the eastern slopes of Mount Etna, near Milo, Sicily, where Carricante, Nerello Mascalese, and Catarratto thrive on terraces flanked by ancient lava dry‑stone walls at about 700 m above sea level. They focus entirely on white varieties—mineral‑driven Carricante from Contrada Volpare and Praino (including the single‑vineyard Frontebosco), a fresh Nerello Mascalese rosato, and aromatic Catarratto—vinified with care using gentle pressing, mixed vessels, and lees ageing to express pure volcanic elegance. In just a few years, Maugeri has emerged as one of Etna’s most exciting new white‑wine estates, earning top critic scores and accolades.

Il Marroneto is today regarded as one of the leading names in Montalcino, celebrated for its elegant, traditional expressions of Sangiovese. Founded by Giuseppe Mori in 1974 and carried forward by his son Alessandro, the estate has grown to 7.5 hectares of vineyards on the cooler northern slopes of the appellation. Farming is meticulous and traditional methods are maintained: spontaneous fermentations, long macerations, and aging in large neutral oak casks. These practices, combined with the sandy, mineral-rich soils of the Madonna delle Grazie area, yield wines of remarkable clarity and balance.

The flagship Brunello di Montalcino Madonna delle Grazie consistently ranks among the highest-scoring wines of the region, with multiple vintages earning 98–100 points from international critics. Alongside the estate’s classic Brunello, Alessandro’s son Iacopo Mori is now contributing to the legacy, crafting special selections of Rosso di Montalcino that showcase a younger generation’s sensibility while maintaining the estate’s hallmark finesse. With growing acclaim worldwide, Il Marroneto stands as a benchmark for traditional Brunello, marrying heritage with a forward-looking family vision.

Poggio Anima is a thoughtful collaboration between renowned Brunello producer Riccardo Campinoti of Le Ragnaie in Montalcino and Ronnie Sanders of Vine Street Imports. Their aim: craft approachable yet expressive wines that reflect both authentic terroir and singular grape identity, all rooted in longstanding partnerships with trusted growers across Abruzzo, Puglia, Sicily, and Tuscany.

The range comprises seven distinct wines, each resonating with regional character and thoughtfully named to embody the balance of opposing forces—angels for the whites, fallen angels for the reds, echoing the Yin–Yang philosophy behind Poggio Anima. Their labels feature striking mythic imagery—like Belial (Sangiovese), Lilith (Primitivo), Gabriel (Pecorino), and Samael (Montepulciano d’Abruzzo)—that immediately distinguish them in any listing or display.
